B3 Cycling offers a range of courses right through the school years and can be run during or after school, or at weekends.
The skills course helps to develop and enhance essential cycling skills for safer riding, and preparation for the Bikeability courses.
We suggest the following courses be run to get the maximum benefit for your school:
Year 1 – Skills Course
Year 2 – Skills Course
Year 3 – Skills Course
Year 4 – Level 1 Bikeability
Year 5 – Level 2 Bikeability
Year 6 – Safe Night Riding
Year 7 – Level 3 Bikeability
We offer a leisurely led cycle ride as well for an hour using local roads and cycle tracks and is being offered to those who have completed the Level 2 Bikeability award for £4 per person, 6 - 8 per ride.
We also encourage parents and school staff to take the courses, these can be arranged utilising your school playground and the local area outside of school time
